The reviewer comparison above is what two bananas — one kept in the bag and one not — looked like after four or five days!

Promising review: "I am a big warehouse shopper and in the past often couldn’t eat all those berries or all that lettuce before they went bad. So I followed the directions and made sure the produce was dry (lettuce, spinach, asparagus, and blueberries). For the lettuce and asparagus, saw a little condensation in the bag, so put a paper towel in the bag where moisture was accumulating. Two weeks later, the berries were almost as fresh as day one. Lettuce was still crisp and crunchy and only a few pieces of spinach were starting to wilt. Asparagus were crisp as well. I would definitely recommend and will continue to try with other fruits and vegetables." —BAS

    2. A game-changing microwave pasta cooker you just fill with water and noodles (there's a line on the side that shows you how much), heat in the microwave for 12-ish minutes, and bam — you've got dinner. Boiling water? I don't know her.

    Amazon, amazon.com

Two of the most basic facts about me are that 1) I love pasta and 2) I'm lazy as heck. Cooking pasta is pretty easy, even for someone like me who rarely cooks. But still, it's a little more than I want to do when I'm feeling hungry and/or burnt out to wait for the water to boil and have to wash the pot and colander when I'm done. What I really needed was something that could have the whole process done in under 15 minutes and that I could just toss in the dishwasher.

Enter the Fasta Pasta (great name btw). I'm really amazed by what a game-changer it is, as well as how user-friendly it is. It comes with a booklet of instructions on how long to cook/how much pasta and water to use for all different shapes of pasta, plus there's an extended list on the product's website. All you have to do is measure out the pasta and fill the tub with water to the appropriate fill line, then microwave it on high for the noted amount of time. When it's done, you pop on the lid, which has convenient handles. I was nervous about using my bare hands to take this out of the microwave even with the handles, but amazingly it doesn't get that hot! The lid also has a built-in strainer, which is perfect for both helping you fill the Fasta Pasta with a precise amount of water and for straining once the pasta is cooked. Then voila! You've got pasta! Check out my full Fasta Pasta review (#2), and yes, please cast me in an infomercial about it.

    3. Bamboo and polyester-blend towels that can each be washed and reused for scrubbing, spills, and more up to 80 (!!!) times and will probably make you wonder why you ever wasted money (and landfill space) with regular paper towels.

    Mighty Bamboo Towels

They're super sturdy, too. *Puts on best infomercial voice* How sturdy, you ask? Even a wet one can support up to 22 pounds.

Promising review: "Reusable, washable, and strong! Thin enough to be like a paper towel, but thick enough to do double duty! I have a little container that I throw them in when used and put them in a zippered laundry pouch and throw in the washer — fantastic!!!!" —Mickey

    4. The Big Boss Oil-less Air Fryer, a huge halogen, convection, and infared cooker with tons of cool features including the ability to cook pretty much anything (and even two dishes at once on different shelves), a transparent bottom to easily check progress, a basically zero need for extra oil for it to work its magic.

    Amazon, amazon.com

It comes with an extender that can allow it to hold and cook up to 16 quarts of goodness, plus two racks and a basket for cooking and frying all kinds of dishes. It also comes with over 50 recipes, but you can check out BuzzFeed's roundup of yummy air fryer recipes, too!

Promising review: "I LOVE THIS MACHINE!!! I have made potatoes (just cut them up, throw them a bowl with a tablespoon of oil and seasonings, then into the air fryer for 20 minutes) and OMG sooooo good. The outside was crispy like it was baked or toasted, and the inside was like a baked potato. Then I made zucchini and did the same thing and the tops of the zucchini looked like it was on the grill with little burnt spots, but it took 10 minutes and was so soft to eat. Then I did fries out of the bag, no oil, just a little salt. They tasted more like baked crunch than fried crunch but still were super crunchy and NO MESS!! I breaded pork chops with flour, eggs and breading and put them in the air fryer 10 minutes on each side and WOW — just like it was fried, without the grease. To me it's more like a high-power baked taste. I am going to do a whole chicken soon and see how that comes out, and also want to dehydrate some fruit because it can do that too." —Erika

Get it from Amazon for $74.99+ (available in three colors).

    5. A Stasher reusable silicone bag able to survive the oven, microwave, dishwasher, freezer, and sous vide that will probably make you wonder why you ever wasted time (and plastic) using disposable versions.

    Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: "Start with one or two (sandwich size is a good starter) and build your stash as you get rid of the Ziploc bags in your drawers. We've been using all sizes of Stasher bags for nearly a year and haven't had any issues with a single one. We use them to keep crackers/chips/bread from getting stale after opened, to keep leftovers in the fridge or freezer, and pack sandwiches/meds/dog food or treats and so many more things. We sous vide in them, heat up food in the microwave in them, put them in the dishwasher, and marinate in them. They don't leak, they don't smell, they're easy to close and open, and they don't take up much room compared to traditional Tupperware or other food storage. If you put squishy stuff or liquid in there, soaking with baking soda and vinegar for 30 minutes can make sure the crevices don’t mold as some reviewers mention. I do this a couple of times a month regardless of what's in them. They do cost more than regular plastic bags and require more work, because obviously you don't just use them once — make the switch and stop with the single use plastics." —Maison Leach

Get it from Amazon for $9.99+ (available in four sizes and 12 colors).

    6. A pack of cheerful and colorful Scrub Daddy sponges ingeniously designed to be odor-resistant and scratch free, with eye holes that make an easy grip and a mouth for scrubbing both sides of silverware at once. Forgive me for saying this, but yes, Daddy.

This multicolor pack allows you to color code which sponges you use for which areas of your home! Check out BuzzFeed's full Scrub Daddy write-up.

Promising review: "Love, love, love Scrub Daddy sponges, and I haven't bought another sponge since I discovered the company after watching Shark Tank. I know the mouth is supposed to be great for spoons, but I honestly don't even use it that way. This sponge just cleans everything: my granite counters, my stainless steel sink, my wooden dining table, dishes, etc. NOTHING is damaged, and the best part of these sponges is that they don't stink like a dumpster after a week of use. Not only do they do their job, but you're actually saving money in the long run from not having to buy sponges all the time. Whenever one does start to smell a bit, I just throw it on the rack in the dishwasher and run it through a cycle, and it lasts another two weeks or so." —Peaceful Pines

    7. Adjustable shelves that can fit perfectly in your cabinets and hold up to 40 pounds (!!!) of spices and other small containers. Warning: organization p*rn ahead.

    amazon.com, Amazon

Promising review: "I never write reviews. I’ll keep it short and sweet for you. BUY THIS IF YOUR MEDICINE CABINET OR SPICE CABINET IS A MESS!!! I’m soooo impressed! I’m glad I bought three thinking I was going to give some away as Christmas gifts, because I used them ALL! Planning to buy some more before Christmas. At first the assembly looked overwhelming since there were screws ( I was looking for a quick assembly), but then once I started to tackle the job, I realized quickly that the screws are there ONLY IF you want to attach it to the walls of your cabinet, and I think that’s a cool feature. It took me maybe seven minutes to snap everything in and measure it to my cabinetry and it fit PERFECTLY! I’m in organizer HEAVEN!" —Tara J. Smith

    8. Natural, cleansing, and odor-eliminating Bottle Bright tablets to make one of your least favorite kitchen chores — cleaning out your gross water bottle — unbelievably easy.

    amazon.com

I KNOW I'm not the only one who puts off this important chore as long as possible because I always use the wrong amount of dish soap and then it takes forever to rinse it out and even THEN my bottle winds up tasting like soap...you know what I'm talking about. All you have to do with Bottle Bright is fill your bottle with warm water, drop a single tablet in, and let it fizz the gunk away. The tablet dissolves completely, so once you dump out the water, you can use your bottle again right away! Check out BuzzFeed's full write-up on Bottle Bright.

Promising review: "Can I give Bottle Bright 10 stars? This is a MIRACLE product. I saw it on Shark Tank last week and was really surprised that Lori was the only one that made them an offer (the other Sharks must not use Contigo travel mugs). I immediately ordered it to try and save my Contigo mug that I thought was too far gone. One 10 minute go-round with this product in warm water cleaned the dark brown layer of crud off the bottom of the mug, revealing perfect, shiny, good-as-new stainless steel underneath! I'd tried everything to get that off, but the shape of the bottle made it nearly impossible to scrub. With this product, it rinsed right off like it was nothing. I decided to try one more tablet with hot water and leave it overnight to get the stains off the sides of the bottle. This morning when I rinsed it out, I was absolutely blown away by how perfect it looks. I almost didn't want to put more coffee in it! Also, as the product was sitting and doing its thing in the water, there was no odor whatsoever, and there is absolutely no residual taste. I don't know how they did it, but this incredible product is a MUST-HAVE if you have a mug that you find impossible to clean!" —Erica C.

Get a box of 12 tablets from Amazon for $8.

    9. A Rapid Ramen Cooker with over 2,000 5-star reviews that can cook your noodles in the microwave in three minutes and must have been designed by someone with a pretty genius ~noodle~ themselves.

It's BPA-free and dishwasher safe! Plus, since you use less water, you can also use less seasoning and therefore reduce your sodium intake. It was presented on Shark Tank, and the Black-owned company now makes rapid cookers for everything from noodles to oatmeal to desserts!

Promising review: "Possibly the best thing I have ever purchased. Like legit, it cooks the ramen perfectly and it's super easy to clean. I gave the red one to my friend who is also an avid ramen lover. I don't even put the flavoring in anymore — I can just mix in kimchi with some fish and it's like using spaghetti. Seriously sweet when you don't want to clean up a million pots and pans or wait or sweat your butt off over a hot stove." —P Y

Get it from Amazon for $9.99 (available in five colors).

    10. Or a microwave mac 'n' cheese cooker by the same as-seen-on-Shark Tank brand, because you know boxed mac tastes better than made-to-microwave tubs, but you'd sure as heck still like to be able to cook it in the microwave.

It's BPA-free and reviewers also love it for other packaged rice and pasta products you'd usually cook on the stove.

Promising review: "Living with a lot of roommates discouraged me from cooking in the kitchen, because it's always so cramped or dirty, so anything that I can make in my room with a microwave is a lifesaver for me and this really helps. I've used it for salads because its deep and durable. I've cooked macaroni, penne, and bowties in a third of the time I'd spend boiling water on a stove and making pasta that way. And this also works great with those Knorr pasta sides. It's also ridiculously easy to clean. I fell asleep and forgot to wash out the cheese and pasta that hardened overnight, and it took like two seconds of rinsing and scrubbing for everything to come out." —Melissa

Get it from Amazon for $9.85.

    11. Safe Grabs, aka silicone mats that are heat resistant up to 475 degrees and can be used as trivets, pot holders, splatter guards, jar openers, and pretty much anything else you can imagine.

    Amazon

    They're BPA-free and dishwasher safe.

Promising review: "I ordered these and then went back for more. I use them for all sorts of things even outside the kitchen, like under flower pots. I have the largest size in my microwave, which is extremely handy for boil-overs. Also doubles as a potholder that I can lift the dish out of the microwave with — extremely handy. I put them on my butcher block work surface to set things on that have moisture, like frozen foods or drinks, so I don't get standing water rings. I use them between my cast iron skillets, especially the porcelain-lined ones, to prevent scratching. I put them under my mini rice cooker, my coffee maker, and even my crockpot, because those items can get warm on the bottom. However, if you set super hot pots from the oven on them and then move them, the counter is still warm, so they aren't 100% on those. All and all very handy to have." —CAM

Get a set of two (one small, one large) from Amazon for $27.95+ (available in seven colors).-

    12. The Thaw Claw, a handy tool you can attach to the bottom of your sink to keep packages of food in place while you thaw them underwater. ~Meat~ the product that'll help you thaw your protein in under half an hour, up to seven times (!!!) faster than usual.

    Amazon

Thaw Claw is a Black-owned business that's been featured on Shark Tank, HSN, and Good Morning America!

Promising review: "At first this looked gimmicky, but I saw a need for something like this. I use vacuum bags to freeze my meat and with our schedules, thawing out our meal for that evening often includes placing the frozen block in water to thaw in a reasonable time. Without this item, I was left to put a heavy pot or iron skillet on top to keep it in submerged to speed the thawing process. This device, with its suction base and spread design, keeps the food item under its fingers to allow the thawing process to complete in less than half the time by just putting it in the water. And before you object, 'that’s not safe, the temperature will rise too much and promote bacteria growth' — I have ServSafe certs. I know my time and temp levels and those are in no way even close to approaching the danger zone unless you leave it for hours before cooking. I recommend this item for anyone, but especially anyone who has time constraints for evening dinner prep or any other time for that matter." —mudhen7

Promising review: "Amazing product! Lives up to its hype, for sure! We have a few and we use them to scrape every bit of anything in the house — things like Nutella, jam, lotions, peanut butter, moisturizers, and more! Easy to use and easy to clean. This is a must-have item to help you make your products last and save money!" —Milica P.

Promising review: "I just bought a second pair of these for our vacation camper. These little things have saved me THOUSANDS of dollars over the years. I have used them almost every morning for the last 10 years. I used to stop every morning for an egg sandwich. Four or five dollars a day and now my cost is an egg, English muffin, and a few slices of ham. After 10 years they still look like new and are a simple little gadget. Easily saves me $20 a week or $1,000 a year. I can put together a delicious egg sandwich in under five minutes, so a big time saver too." —Joe M.

    amazon.com

You can also use it for savory dishes that are even better crispy, like mac 'n' cheese, lasagna, or casseroles. Plus, it comes with a spatula and some brownie recipes!

Promising review: "My mom loves brownies. Growing up we'd fight over the corners and edge pieces, because those are our favorite. I bought this pan for my mom, and she loves it. Every piece is an edge, so there are no 'bad' brownies (not that the middles are bad, just a bit inferior to the edges in our opinions). When I visit, we all get as many edges as we want. I gave her this pan eight years ago and it's still in great shape." —ANM

Get it from Amazon for $36.95.

    Amazon

Promising review: "I am 73 years old and this product is by far the best egg cooker I have ever used. I have tried the electric ones and I will admit they were better than boiling water in a pan, but the Egg Pod is the best, hands-down. I purchased two and gave my daughter one. She loves it too." —Marilyn R. Burton

Promising review: "Love love love this! I was looking for something fun to get my daughter excited about eating better. This did not disappoint! In fact, I was only disappointed when my daughter took all my piggies and ate both of ours! Super easy to use, doesn’t stick to the pan if you spray first, and they look pretty dang cute! My daughter now begs for them! So happy I purchased this! I used crescent rolls for my dough." —Hoboken Girl

Promising review: "Do you have an unruly infant? Does your infant insist on looking you straight in the eyes and waiting for your stern 'no,' then slowly showing a buck-toothed smile while throwing their food on the dog? Does your baby continue to laugh when the dog swoops in to eat the splattered spaghetti from the cabinets and floor? I bet your baby is like mine and likes to snatch up the dish and toss it to the side, then conduct a maniacal laugh while watching you quickly grab a sponge and rush to clean the seeping yogurt from the high chair... right? No? Just my 10-month-old? Well even if your spawn wasn't sent to your right from the deepest crevasse of wild town, this suction mat will help you with dinner! We have a resin-top table and I'll be darned if it doesn't stick hard enough to stump my adult man-child on how to retrieve it! The dish sticks great!" —Becha H.

Get it from Amazon for $19.99 (available in four colors).

    20. A clever double pan that'll make flipping omelets, bacon, grilled cheese, and more so ~flipping~ easy, plus help you get the fluffiest pancakes you've ever made in your life.

    Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: "I had a similar pan for years but the handle eventually broke off and I was really missing it. This pan is even better, because the top will stay open at a 90-degree angle while pouring in pancake batter or whatever. That is a major improvement, especially since I use it most often when making pancakes. Anything that needs to be flipped is great in this pan. I often make grilled cheese sandwiches in it. It's not good for volume cooking, but I only cook for one or two so it is fine. Another improvement over my old one is that the two pieces fit tighter together when closed, so batter or eggs or whatever don't have a chance to leak out when flipping. Finally, the price was very reasonable." —Amazon Customer
