Thurs May 30, 2024: Today on Young and Restless, Audra refuses to listen to Tucker, Ashley asks Traci to keep watch over her, and Claire has her first day with Harrison.
Wednesday’s recap: Jill told Billy she’s sick, Nikki was suspicious that Jordan was caught, and Diane fumed that Jack’s Nikki’s sponsor again.

Audra is working in her suite in Paris when Tucker starts banging on the door.
She asks what he’s doing there and he has the same question for her.
He says he’s sent her some cease and desist paperwork to stop her from speaking to the heads of companies he’s acquired.
She declares this is none of his business and tells him to go back to the people he claims to care about.
He doesn’t know how they ended up like this.
They were happy and he was ready to commit his entire life to her.
He still is. Why is she doing this?
Audra tells him he can be oblivious about some things and suggests he chose everyone else over her every time.
She was a fool to believe any of his promises that he would make her the center of his world.
She’s sure he will never change and she will never believe him.
He wonders how she can attack him for trying to help his family.
She reminds him he walked out of Ashley for refusing to walk away from her family.
Tucker can’t just give up on his family. She tells him he failed to follow through on any of their plans.
Audra is tired of this and doesn’t need to justify her decisions.
She’s done and shows him the door.
As he shuffles out, he asks if it’s really over.
She’s silent so he tells her to stay away from Glissade and exits.
Alan and Traci take Ashley to her apartment.
She looks around to see if one of her alternative personalities has changed anything.
When she goes off to freshen up, Alan and Traci hope that she will feel safe enough to unravel what’s happened.
She’s sure her sister is in shock.
Alan has no plan and they will have to take their cues from Ashley to get to the bottom of her trauma.
Traci worries that her sister will have to face something terribly painful.
She’s more worried when he admits the alters could take over again.
The alters in Ashley’s head start murmuring about how they need to get out of there fast.
Belle and Miss Abbott urge her to let them handle this.
Alan urges Traci to keep her sister focused and then leaves the sisters alone.
When Traci suggests her sister sleep, Ashley says she needs to stay awake because the alters are looking for the chance to take over.
Her sister tells her they are on the path to solutions.
They have coffee and Ashley explains how frightening it is to have no control.
She can’t understand any of this.
Why are her alters dragging Tucker into this?
She asks her sister to watch her and keep her herself. Traci can promise that.
Her sister worries that there isn’t much of a plan.
Her head is “like a dead zone” and all her faith is in Alan.
Tucker bumps into Alan in the street.
Disgusted, Alan immediately walks away.
Alan returns to Ashley’s apartment and urges her to go easy on herself.
She wants to do this now.
He thinks they need to try to get access to memories of what happened after her fight with Tucker.
She explains she was up the night before because she was concerned about walking away from her family.
When he suggests she retrace her steps, she gets frightened.
He assures her that her memories cannot hurt her.
Thinking back, she says she called him and asked to meet.
She doesn’t remember the day and he doesn’t remember the call.
He explains he was in Florence at the time. This confuses the doctor and worries him.

At Crimson Lights, Claire is having a hard time deciding on pastries for Harrison and decides on brownies before sighing.
At the Abbott estate, Kyle and Summer watch as their son learns to ride his bike. Her nerves are wracked.
He’s proud of her. She just hopes he’s right about Claire.
They call their son inside.
In the house, Jack tells Diane their grandson picked up biking quick.
He knows she’s still upset at him for agreeing to be Nikki’s sponsor.
Diane is even more upset than yesterday and declares that she’s “done.”
He assumes she can’t mean that she’s done with them.
Tearing up, she reminds him of all they have been through to be together again.
It seems like he doesn’t care about her feelings.
She may have outwardly tried to support his support of Nikki, but she can’t pretend anymore.
He insists that their marriage is his priority and promises he won’t go too far again.
His wife doesn’t think that’s a promise he can keep. He chose Nikki over his own life.
Jack makes excuses and she doesn’t buy them, reminding him of the excuses that addicts make.
He insists that he has no desire to fall into bring wasted and offers to do anything to convince her.
Diane asks him not to be the other woman’s sponsor. He wishes she would believe in him.
She tells him not to make this about her lack of trust. He broke their trust.
Jack repeats he won’t do anything to jeopardize their future.
His wife refuses to stand by and watch how far he goes to help Nikki.
She’s going to give him time to think about this and walks out.
Jack calls after her.
Jack chases Diane into the park, eager to work this out.
She thinks there’s nothing more to say.
She reminds him of all she went through the night he didn’t come home.
He put himself in harm’s way without thinking of her.
Jack offers to apologize a million times but that’s not enough for her.
She can see how far he will go for Nikki but not for her.
She needs to end things now. There is no other choice.
Nikki sends him a text, asking to meet.
Diane looks appalled and her husband explains that Nikki needs help.
Running away won’t solve anything.
His wife tells him that she is the only person who can decide what she can live with.
She reminds him that he’s not the only option to help Nikki.
He repeats he’s only trying to help and getting her to start all over with a new sponsor would be cruel.
Diane thinks that Nikki chose him because he would go easy on her.
They go over this repeatedly until she draws a line in the sand.
She says he’s brought this on himself.
This is breaking her heart but she needs to walk away from him and this is his fault.
He refuses to lose her over this and she refuses to lose him over an overdose.
Jack won’t let her walk away and declares Nikki will have to find another sponsor.
He holds her.
Back at the Abbott estate, Summer and Harrison sit in the living room and she prepares him for his day with Claire.
She tells him she will think of him all day long and asks him to get Claire to call them if he’s sad.
Kyle is sure today will be a good day for all.
Harrison is thrilled when Claire shows up.
Summer pouts.
They tell her brownies were a nice idea but he can’t spoil his appetite.
Claire understands the importance of rules.
Summer says they can’t leave the property either.
Harrison wonders how much time they have because there is stuff he wants to do.
Claire tells him they don’t need to cram it all in because they may have more days like this.
She and the kid play thumb war until the parents are about to take off.
Summer has second thoughts about going but Kyle insists it will be fine.
Harrison tells his mom that Claire will take care of him.
Once the parents are gone, they go looking for caterpillars.
Kyle and Summer go to Crimson Lights for coffee.
She’s still nervous but he points out their son has had nannies.
She still has nerves and he assures her it’s all good.
She just hopes they have no reason to regret this.
